Walton common, 3 mins away by car or 20 mins walking. Walton Common is an Avon Wildlife Trust nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) near the village of Walton in Gordano, North Somerset. Located on a limestone ridge between Portishead and Clevedon, it offers spectacular views of the Gordano Valley and the Severn Estuary.


Portishead to Clevedon coastal path
The coastal path from Portishead to Clevedon is a scenic 6-mile (9.3 km) route along the Severn Estuary that takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete. Considered moderately challenging, the path is unpaved, undulating, and can be rocky, with some overgrown sections.
Starting from Portishead, you will follow the path south toward Clevedon. You can walk the route in either direction, but the bus service makes a one-way trip easy.

45 min walk via the coastal path. The pub is situated at 58 Nore Road, on a hillside overlooking the Severn Estuary. It features floor-to-ceiling windows and a tiered outdoor seating area to make the most of the views.
